especially from your faves. In case you didnt know, you can dislike a couple of songs and still support them.

idk how many times ive seen "i dont really like it but after i listen to it 10 times ill like it".

Just dont like the song and move on.

Well, I don't like to reject things. I'm not forcing myself, I just give the song another chance. There are songs I know that'll like, I just need to listen like 3 times and eventually I'll get used to that one note that may bother me.

Not every song that's "bad" to you is "bad" to everyone else.

in all honesty, sometimes i gotta listen to a song before i like it. ill play it the first time and be like "yall let this shit out the studio?" then 10 mins later i'm bopping but yeah folks act like unless you like every single song they put out you not a real fan which is complete and utter bullshit lmao

Because it's from their biased group, obviously they'd still support it even tho it's not their cup of tea.

I don't think needing to listen to a song more than once is always you brainwashing yourself. It trying a food more than once to acquire the taste brainwashing your tongue? Sometimes when things are new or different it takes adjustment....That can include music....

That being said I don't always LOVE everything my biases come out with but I am also not that picky....

I'll listen to a song as many times as I want thanks. Sometimes you literally have to get used to what's going on it, or your laptop speakers weren't good enough so you had to try it in your car or through your expensive headphones.

I liked Rum Rum Rum through speakers, but through my nice headphones? It was like a twenty times more amazing song. rlytearpls.png

tbh I don't like a lot of kpop songs on the first listen and somehow they become stuck in my head and I find myself listening to it multiple times...

but obviously that's not the case with every song e

well sometimes you just gotta listen to the song 37 times, twice backwards, play Gfriends entire discography, pour acid in each ear, knock yourself out, have your friend play it on mute while they are at least 3 miles away and then the song is actually a bop! thats how i listened to a lot of recent releases and I love them

I never force myself to like a song, but if it's my bias group I'll end up watching the perfomances so there are more chances I'll end up liking it. Also when I like a song at first listen I usually get tired of it fast, and the songs I didn't like at first listen are usually the ones I get addicted to later. But my biases only have songs I liked at first listen and were addictive (except signal and firetruck rlytearpls.png

I don't think its really a bad song if you have to listen a few times to like it. But generally if I seriously hate a song I won't listen to it a second time anyways. So for me, if I start to like a song after listening to it more I usually was just meh about the song in the beginning.
