JYP "Everything Sunye posted on the homepage is true. For the next five years, she will be in Haiti with her husband for charity work. Just because she's going to Haiti does not mean she's leaving the Wonder Girls. She will be there for five years but she can also come back to Korea for a short while. Sunye's Haiti trip does not mean the disbandment of the Wonder Girls."

If you need to blame someone, blame the management and not Sunye. The WG could easily carry on without her, form sub-units, etc. while she's away but they're not being given the opportunity to do so because of their MANAGEMENT NOT SUNYE.

 

The WG weren't promoting for a vey long time before she got married. So to suddenly try to say that she's "holding them back" is dumb considering they HAVE NOT BEEN DOING ANYTHING FOR TWO YEARS!!

 

 

Can someone let me know when Sunye took ownership of Wonder Girls? Why are people behaving as though she is the one with the power. Has it never crossed anyone's mind that they could promote without her?? Rather than calling a person who decided to dedicated her life to missionary work selfish, how about going to the company instead and demanding an album for the remaining member? That' what a logical fandom would do. All this misdirected frustration and anger does nothing but let JYP off the hook for neglecting them all these years.

 

This seems so simple to me. Let Sunye do her missionary work. The remaining members can release an album (including Sohee since her company said they were fine with her promoting with them). They can promote normally even without Sunye. Whenever Sunye wants to come back, let her come back for a special mini-album with the group and then go back to doing her missionary work. Why is that so difficult to grasp?

 

Being the leader of the group does not mean she IS the group. Do they think the remaining members lack that much talent that without her (or a new vocal as someone suggested) they'd fail? She is not stopping them from having a career. JYP is doing that. The company controls promotions not the individual members.

I agree but I think if she was gonna to set up a family, do charity work, she should've left WG because idol's life isn't compatible with family's life. I don't get why she renewed her contract. She's making things even more worse now because even if JYP set up its game, if Sunye isn't avaible, they can't do anything.
