He has met with respectable success within Thailand, where his album Old Tyme Religion, and a well-received cover/reimagining of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems†have granted him a sizable celebrity. Jay signed with an album deal so there's a guaranteed album coming. & signing with ROC is more of an easier way to get some promotion out there, more promotion & promotion in the right places.
