Hello SONE! To celebrate our ladies' tenth year since debut, we're celebrating in style with a series of appreciation threads, including this one.

 

With the teaser videos releasing on our way to 4th August it made me wonder: which teasers do we love the most? My two favourites are the ones for Run Devil Run (my first comeback since discovering Soshi) and Mr Mr, which was my ringtone for two years after it came out (and is lowkey one of their best beats I don't care what anyone says).

 

Which ones made (or still make) your blood pump?

Since you already included the RDR teaser,

 

that iconic (and slightly creepy) narration

the hype was UNREAL, first time in a long time seeing soshi dancing in sneakers. also the hard-hitting choreo and how colourful it was, truly iconic

Oh my god the narration in the Genie teaser freaked me tf out the first time I saw it twitch.gif  I can't believe I forgot it existed

This completely unexpected 180 at the end of the Dancing Queen MV!!

 

 

 

They all look so fab, it slayed my entire existence. Also my first SNSD comeback after finding them about a month before rlytearpls.png

 

I also love the IGAB dance teaser. I watched that so many times, I still hear the "Girls' Generation" in the guy's voice at the end of the MV laugh.png laugh.png

The hype was REAL when I first saw these teasers. Queens. I've been a SONE since early 2009, but watching The Boys teasers and the build-up was the most memorable for me.

This is actually my very first SNSD teaser and The Boys was my first comeback! rlytearpls.png  Time flies.

I actually like all of them, haha :)

 

Music-wise I love the You Think and RDR teasers most and I'm still sad they didn't use these instrumentals in the actual songs warstarplz.png  The Boys wins for the visuals but I also remember how hyped I was when I saw that IGAB teaser after Dancing Queen, so it's really hard to choose.

this. I remember the hype. It was REAL. I don't think there was ever or there will ever gonna be another comeback with such HYPE. I remember missing the girls so much since it was over a year since their last Korean comeback and I was dying to see them again (yes they did release the 1st Japanese bible but that's different).

The fandom was so real, the hype, the drought after RDR, the American promotions, I remember being on Allkpop lmao (yes so lame), everything was crying tears when they announced they would release an English version, the Running man 2 part episodes, the year end award shows, everything. Late 2011 was the best time to be a sone tbh. I was so happy to get my hands on my album and to get my Seohyun photocard. They were killing it in Japan with that bible. They were the IT GG and no one could say anything. Tbh late 2011 was the best time to be a Kpop fan. So much happened and mostly happy things. 

 

Ooh what about when they teased Mr.Mr. in the 2013 Youtube Rewind? Legends only

 

 

 

Also the teaser from Marchen Fantasy from the MV before the footage got deleted :( I'm still depressed about this

 

 

i'll never forget SM for deleting the amazing footage with those awesome elegant outfits and the garage scenes. Instead we got the worst SNSD MV ever. idontthinksobetchplz.png
