yoodle 609
need to know if there's more of you out there... I've always been secretive about my interests, even around close friends and family. I know I should embrace my hobbies cause I'm a freaking adult but I just get so much anxiety about what people think of me ugh
NEO BOY 669
not so much closet as I am.... well, my family and most of my friends know I do, but I don't talk about it cause I'm highkey embarrassed lol.

johnny_9ss 1,338
No need to embarrassed about being a fan of talented, hard-working idols.
Mccuish 1,935
You shouldn't be embarrassed to admit you enjoy something. I'm a 26 year male who is a brony and I'm afraid to admit it.

Mog 5,083
I hope you find confidence in yourself and your interests in the future! It's not something I feel the need to tell every person or expect them to get into it as well, but I've never worried about hiding it should it come up. I think the problem is there's people who don't know how to have any other interest but kpop and therefore don't know how to socialize and talk about other interests with someone, so it probably sets a bad impression since they'll assume most fans are like that (which might make others more hesitant to share they're interested in it). Anyway, I don't think there's anything wrong with liking it! So I just laugh it off when someone questions it or doesn't quite understand.

Vip ex-Elvis 597
I say it if they ask like 'what's the type of music u listen to' and shit like that. What follows is either "so you have an asian thingy right" or some lame racist joke to tease me. Just take it like a (wo)man It's just that not big of a deal and you're not that important for them to even care for more than 30 seconds so just get out of the closet mate. I'm a male so supposedly it should be more awkward but it just isn't because they jokingly mess with me I mess with them back
BlinkBaby 1,624
I didn't tell anybody at the beginning because I was embarrassed, but now everyone around me knows. Hell even everyone at work knows I like kpop lol
NanasTwinkles 188
I don't care tbh, if someone asks me what music I like I'll say kpop. People shouldn't even care but if they do what's the big deal
