Kim Nam Gil played Bidam in a history drama. He won the hearts of many fans. Viewers requested to make him a main character ! In the end, the scriptwriters had no choice but to give him more screen time and add a romance with the female lead role (which was a total historical inaccuracy !!!). He received several awards for the role of Bidam.

 

 

he made the decision to portray a homosexual character in the controversial movie NO REGRET. I watched the movie. It has some violence and is somewhat cruel, but it also has some nice gay scenes.. The film was critically praised and traveled the film festival circuit, being shown among others at the Berlin Film Festival, in Germany.
