!~Aishak~! 1,813 Posted July 27, 2017 Share Posted July 27, 2017 not sure of the quality of dubs but i guess the anime would expand more internationally....which idk is it good or bad?? like the manga sells alot in japan which is imp for us fans ...so it can continue for long... but it is underexposed outside , which makes me comfortable watching it without much annoyance and fandom wars.?. but at the same time ...why not more exposure...it is an anime which is full of positive feels and fun,no matter how rotten fandoms are ...they have nothing on it.! Honestly I don't care for the voice-acting (with some exceptions, Michiru's voice actor was really good) but I still watch it because it has more of the story and an amazing soundtrack. I still prefer the voice acting in the DiC Sailor Moon, but then again that's the version I grew up with so I have a major bias. And you are so right, most shonens do seem to have good dubs. Shounen will always be more popular so you can't really compare them tbh. They cant expect it to be like YOI too which just blew up in the intl community. And I think haikyuu is definitely more popular than free since it has accumulated fans with every season. What I'm saying it's like behind only to some top animes in intl popularity and I doubt the dub will help overcome that. And dubs are watched by a few so don't know what their motive is.
