And when I say a long wait, I mean a really long one. There is not a lot to look forward to in the weeks after The International and what most of the community is waiting for the big patch post TI. Reddit has been buzzing with talks of Dota 2 7.20, but till today, there was no news of the new patch. Well, the patch may not be here, but at least the guessing game is over as the date of release has been revealed: 19th November! That is the magical date on which we will finally get of 7.19 d, e, f,g h..whatever iteration is running and have the Dota 2 7.20 patch up and running. Wykhrm Reddy was the first to reveal the date through a tweet: Click here to view the Tweet In the blog post, Valve congratulated the winners of the first DPC event, Tigers, got everyone’s attention to the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Major and as a teaser, just mentioned the release date in the last line! This was pretty much expected. In an interview with VPEsports, Arteezy did mentioned he expected the new patch to arrive after the first Major of the season. With just five Majors and five Minors, any team winning a Major is most probably going to TI9 and with such high stakes, there was no way Valve was disrupting the tournament with a new patch in the form of Dota 2 7.20. Looking at the trend from previous years, Dota 2 7.20 will probably have a lot of changes like new Scepters, creep mechanics and new talents.
