I am so thankful for my parents and I'm trying to show that every day to them
I am trying the maximum to help them in all the areas because they gave me life as #1 and then a beautiful childhood with so many great memories
I am starting university in September and I want to earn later lots of money and take care of them etc
They are both in their fifties and I want to make their golden years amazing
To everyone out there please take care and love your parents as much as possible because you don't know for how long they still be around and you may regret it later.....

Awww I'm glad to hear that. I wish I had supportive parents, but I don't, so it's nice to hear that at least somebody does!

I remember being really angry with my parents because I didn't want to go to med school, and I wasted away my youth.

 

But now this hospital is my home, and I thank my parents for this life.

True. I used to 'hate' them but now growing up, I've seen that quote too and it hit me so hard. These people tell me to dream for myself, to make money, to move out, have a boyfriend. But then I get struck with how I haven't even given an ounce back to them. Of all the things I can regret at the end of my life... caring for them at my adult years is probably something I would regret the most. 

 

My parents weren't too emotional and I'm not also too close with them. We argued A LOT and I even lived in an apartment with my bff because I couldn't stand them. But right now, right here back home. I've come to realized we weren't rich but they made me who I am with a really good childhood and education. Some parents are jerks, I know, but as a whole if they've given you everything or more, I think sometimes we are just immature haha

 

So kids, I know how you feel rn. But I hope you too would realize~
