[Variety] Ji Chang Wook to appear on Hunan TV’s “Happy Campâ€

 

 

Hunan TV has recently announced that Ji Chang Wook will be making an appearance on one of their most popular variety shows, “快ä¹å¤§æœ¬è¥ (Kuai Le Da Ben Ying)†otherwise known as “Happy Camp†in English.

 

“Happy Camp†is a popular Chinese variety show that has been airing since 1997. Each week, the show invites special guests to chat and play games, and singers will also perform a song or two on the show. Several Korean stars such as Psy, Super Junior M and EXO have been invited on the show in recent years.

 

 

Ji Chang Wook will be appearing on the show along with 3 other Chinese “flower boysâ€, namely Jing Boran and Yang Yang from the second season of “花儿与少年(Divas on the Road)â€, and Zhang Han who starred in the first season. “Divas on the Road†is the Chinese remake of the Korean travel variety show “Youths Over Flowersâ€.

Sources indicate that Ji Chang Wook will be recording the show on 28 April around 4:30 pm at the Hunan TV studio in Changsha (Hunan Province).

Although Glorious has yet to issue an official notice to confirm this news, pictures of him at Incheon Airport today pretty much suggest that he will be guesting on the show.  (Photos credit to Muzzy_æœ¨å­ on Weibo)

[Variety] Ji Chang Wook behind-the-scenes at “Happy Campâ€

 

 

Ji Chang Wook began filming the Chinese variety show “Happy Camp†in Changsha today.

 

Here, we see him making his way to the studio for the filming.

 

 

At the studio, he is seen here filming a game segment titled “Be Quiet†with fellow guest stars. Wonder what kind of game that could be!

 

 

 

 

His stylist, Miyoung, also shared a hilarious video of him showing off his “dancing†skills at the dressing room. A “power dancing machine†indeed!

 

Fans who were among the audience shared some preview pictures of him at the actual recording.

 

 

 

 

 

He seems to be having a good time, though I can imagine the games must be embarrassing for him judging from the costumes. I shan’t post too many photos since the episode hasn’t aired yet. Hope he gets sufficient airtime in the actual broadcast!

Although there has been no official word about the broadcast date of Ji Chang Wook’s episode yet, Hunan TV has already announced the guest lineup for the episode this Saturday, so it is likely that his episode will only be aired the following Saturday (9 May).

Today, fashion magazine Ceci China revealed photos of Ji Chang Wook behind-the-scenes at a photo shoot for their magazine.

 

Ji Chang Wook will be featured in the June issue of Ceci China (not to be confused with Ceci Korea).

Sohu TV conducted an exclusive interview with Ji Chang Wook in Beijing on 30 April after the “Healer†congratulatory event was over. He doesn’t really talk about “Healer†in the video, but more about his favourite manga, who he wants to invite to his wedding, the prerequisite question about his ideal girlfriend (how many times are reporters going to keep asking that?!), and of course, his favourite topic — food!

[Event] Ji Chang Wook shows support for his friend at eyewear brand launching

 

 

Ji Chang Wook becomes a fashionista again as he attends yet another fashion event of sorts.

 

This time, he shows up for the launching event of eyewear brand Speculum in support of his friend, Kyu-bok.  The event, which was attended by celebrities such as actresses Park Si Yeon and Han Groo and singers Tymee and Outsider, was held at the Young Plaza, Myeongdong branch of the Lotte Department Store in Seoul to mark the launch of the brand’s new 2015 Spring/Summer line-up (appropriately called “15S/Sâ€).  Speculum has gained lots of attention from the collaborative work with famous designers, such as Kang Dong Jun, Lee Seok Tae and Hong Hye Jin.
