:O apart from her clothes it's awesome I love her Eb5's

though her G5's and F5's sounded a little tense.

Yeah they where. Passed E she needs work.

If she get paid by singing, she is not student anymore.

Let's not play with semantics dahling. Even students who are still learning go out to perform and get paid for it.

Operatic singing develop way before vocal pedagogy came about.

Actually Vocal pedagogy/Study of the voice started in Ancient Greece...Operatic singing didn't show up until hundreds of years later.

And the true Technique only started being recorded around the 13th century, in the roman catholic church.

All of that. Music in general was studied in those times. Like Musical notation,Rhythem,Voice,Singing, etc

The Theory of music is so complicated cause it involves so many things.

^Not really.

I say study as in the science of music. There is a specific way things work when we talk about music.

pitch, beat or pulse, rhythm, melody, harmony, texture, allocation of voices, timbre or color, expressive qualities (dynamics and articulation), and form or structure.

These are all studied topics of music theory.  Even Sound is studied in music.

Music is an Art form but it's an Art with alot of roots in science, math,Psychology etc.

Okay...So my Vocal instructor did a High Note in my lesson today. I think it was a simple G4.

I almost lost my hearing! Shit! The Room Shook! Resonance is a crazy thing!

As he did this mega powerful note though...He...had the laziest face on! It was so easy for him to shake this damn Room!!! lol

question guys. do you have to belt to resonate? everytime someone shows a vid with someone resonating, they're belting.

In Opera the singer must Resonant in every section of the voice and even on the softest note.

However, in pop music it's not really needed because amplification.

Also if you take away the microphone from Sungmin I doubt the entire venue would be able to hear him but here is Maria Callas doing a Db6 in the softest dynamic.

Listen to the how soft it is but still manages to ring.

The techniques are different.

In terms of breath support opera singers use 10x more then normal pop singers.

And in general it's a vastly different genre altogether where skill is required.

It literally takes 10 years or more depending on the singer to perfect their technique.

Now if you want to create a opera ranking we could do that.

That kinda ranking would be twice as difficult to create however.
