supported ranges of Kim Bum Soo, Lim Chang Jung, Ha Hyun Woo, Kim Tae Woo (g.o.d), and Shin Yong Jae?

Kim bumsoo can support : Bb2 - Bb4/B4 at his best (I didn't have enough time to analyze his consistency on the lows)

Lim chan jung : I only know he can handle At least F#4 (at least average)

Ha hyungwoo : Bb2/B2 or B2/C3ish - A4/Bb4

Kim taewoo : can support down Bb2 too (again not sure about his consistency here) he has troubles above G#4 imo ( he was given Bb4 back then but some are high larynx so )

Shin yongjae : Eb3 - G#/A4

Ps : all those are only approximative i would make more relisten sections when I make my male vocal chart/ranking

Wow thanks Baz! Honestly if anyone here knew it was probably you lol.

Yeah they're all about what I expected, perhaps except for maybe Kim Tae Woo who I thought would have had consistent A4's. Ha Hyun Woo is also maybe a little lower than I expected since I thought he'd at least be able to match Kim Bum Soo's peak.

I'm really looking forward to the full male vocalist ranking chart Baz! When are you expecting to release it?

You welcome ,Oops forgot that that ha hyunwoo also support his head voice but didn't heard him use it that much live wise (either up Eb5 or F5). I don't think so... Ha hyunwoo still have a pretty edgy stylistic sound coming from his rock background, even with his quirks bumsoo is way more clean and stronger overall I would say. OVERALL they're really different vocalists both approach and level wise.

It really depends on my Mood and how hard Life swing me we will see ,so far with my back issue it not anyttime soon unfortunately

she tends to make her placement more nasal as she mixes higher but its not as heavy when she sings in chest. She gets tight when she hits C5s. The Bb4s are decent like at 2:48, 2:54, 3:06 in ill throw it away,  4:12 in congratulations, the phrased C5 was tight but she relaxes and supports the Bb4. Because of the key of the song, we. I think she has a bit of tongue tension like her A vowels lean towards eo/uh.

Id say shes safely average like mid average around Jihyo, but i havent found any B4s to judge as im just skimming the performance but she could be stronger than jihyo or even weaker. Ill need more material.

A mid average ? Definitely not

Hello sir, is WJSN Seola an average?

if she was consistent with her approach like here , she would be average

but from what I've heard she doesn't always focus as much like here

so maybe more on the W to A spectrum

Does Sullyoon sound average to you?

1.31 She sounded better than the clip I posted earlier.

i'm not sure tbh , i heard some shallowness still in her recent begin again , for me even the low A's like choa have better basics of support

@BAZISSINO out of curiosity since you know the older groups, what was DGNA's vocal ranking? they're competing on a show rn without Hyumin and Mika - can Karam and Injun support?

hyunmin was overrated and mistyped as a baritone and was put too high on P but he's nothing above a low or mid AA ( he's a painter now so I won't really care for his current level ) Mika was a high AA back then and now he barely sings ( so I don't know about his current level ) , karam is currently carrying the whole peak time show vocally I would say he's a safe AA ( keep in mind back then he didn't get an analyse lol ) injun also support but he can sound stuck I would say he's A

He seems to be the same, still supports up to A4. He also have a youtube channel where he posts covers quiet often.

Drop the channel link 🤙

Edit : just found it ,just learned that they left top media and rebranded their group as Fave1 but it only for Japanese activities

Are they really "average"? I mean, Zhang Hao for example supports consistently up to F4/F#4 and has a handful of supported moments on G4. He also has quite good pitch and his high notes beyond G4 more often than not don't sound very strained, just unsupported.

Yes I confirm just average

His approach in the F4-G4 range sounds better than what I've heard from the 4th gen

The 4th gen average should never be the standard or a benchmark 😂 ....what you need to compare him is the A to AA of all gens (and how his forts and weaknesses, quirks compare)

btw the male chart will be very dramatically different from the blog 2016 one
