Nope A2, but I think I hear F#2 @1:49

I heard the F#2 too. At least that one we can agree upon. But lol I don't want to bring in age old singers into this thread heh.

As for Taewoo, the lowest I've heard him sing is a B2, but he is quite the high note whore lol. Besides interrupting Ailee, he also belted in Wheesung's face, poor Wheesung.

LOL Why do you always say that? LOL We don't care about age if the vocals are good LOL

It's cuz Drew's okay usually means healthy and like healthy cant be tense..

IK LOL But I meant like it was okay, not entirely healthy. But not entirely bad.

ok I meant sure you can count Aretha Franklin in, but would you even consider old guys from Korea who probably do not care about vocal techniques at all?

I think she is pretty good. She breaths a bit too often imo. Some of her higher notes aren't exactly perfect but, it's good.

I am a beginner at this so judging this is practice for me lol >.<

So I was Ear training today(Well doing scale work) And I started doing an A major Scale and when I tell you my ears \where fucking up today and I kept going flat and sharp. But I do it now and it's like second nature.

^ooh nice. I also do scales. But I usually end of effing it up with my extreme intonations >_>

What is Tae's note at 2:30? I can tell it's not great .

F5. And just mediocre.

Oh I was doing sight singing and like I can do rhythm just fine, simple rhythm and singing the melody, but singing a dotted rhythm? like why. I kept getting lost. It was terrible, teacher told me my timing sucked and I was like.. what. I'm usually the best and everybody sucked today whats wrong with u. SIght singing 1 problems.

Hi guys, can anyone judge the vocalist of LEDapple in this cover of Bruno Mar's "It Will Rain". How would Hanbyul compare to Bruno?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmoVE2JSy9A

Damn he's so cute >.<

I sense nasality and his throat wasn't open, he did strain a bit as he got higher, but he wasn't very unhealthy. Like Onew. Bruno is mediocre: he's nasal, strains a quite a lot and has a lot of intonation issues. Just from this performance I'd say Hanbyul is a bit better than Bruno.

What does being able to 'connect notes' mean? You guys mention it when criticizing Bom's singing.  Does she always sing in staccato but not legato?  (The only reason why I know these terms are because of a kid show... lol.)

And can the average untrained person be the same level as Bom?

^It can't be called staccato really it's just because her breath support stinks she has to constantly stop to breath and because she has no control over the breath she pushes it out.

And because of this it causes a huge disconnect between each phrase especially when she starts singing passed a certain point.

Staccati are an appropriate form of articulation.

^And yes there are people who are average and slay bom vocally.

I don't see Bom has no breath. Just that it was intentional most of the time.

Average person can slay bom vocally. That if you just wanna listen to the tone, note and words and left out expression and reciting the song.
