Is it due to pitch?(Is that the official name for it, shaky music theory knowledge) I find Opera singers frequently have it in comparison to pop singers. The speed. A good vibrato has a good speed. You see SoHyang is very much a trained Soprano contemporary vocalist her voices shines where a Soprano's voice is supposed to whereas TaeYeon's does not. TaeYeon's supported range ends on C5/C#5(maybe D5 now, but for the sake of this explanation C5/C#5) and has worked to make those notes shine as much as possible, even the notes below. So her Bb4~C5/C#5 has more shine quality..because she worked to have more shine quality there/ was trained to have shine quality there..whereas SoHyang was not. So I believe you are mistaking the shine quality with actual superior technique. Like SoHyang's B4 to B5 octave jump in "Where Are You?" that B4 has just as much resonance as the B5, but it doesn't have the same shine quality. But really..if TaeYeon's voice had better training..her voice wouldn't shine on C5/C#5..l :happy: :happy:!!!!
