Messica 5,468 Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 Let's do it like this~ Good-Ailee,YeonJi,Haeri- Very consistent stable larynx/resonance can be found at the Eb5/E5 mark frequently< Not many intonation issues,desired tonality, Good Placement Decent-TaeYeon,HyoRin,Luna,Eunji- Consistent in their tessitura's not so much out of it, stable larynx/resonance found at the C#5/D5 mark frequently, sometimes get is right out of tessiture, intonation issues~~ Normally gives out desired Tonality,Decent Placment OK 1st Class-Resonated a couple of times, but not as consistent as Decent< 2nd Class-Resonated once or twice, but not as consistent as first class 3rd Class-Open throat notes, stable larynx to like C5, maybe C#5, may have resonated, just nobody knows LOL Mediocre 1st Class-Can keep a stable larynx around the B4/C5 mark, inconsistent in their tessitura, vocal flaws a pretty apparent, like intonation,nasality,support,breathing~.(Jessica,SeoHyun) Doesn't really give out desired tonality Mediocre Placement 2nd Class- Can keep a stable larynx around Bb4/B4, inconsistent, very apparent vocal flaws more apparent than 1st Class (GaIn,JiEun) 3rd Class- Larynx is really on stable around A4/Bb4 mark, has some(few) OK moments < Some are in third class for lack of stability ex:Sunny Very apparent, more than the other classes Bad < Is Just Bad....nothing to really debate about. thank you. So have Taeyeon and Jessica always shared vocal trainers? Yeah he is. But he's with hyorin now. Jessica according to jiyul is with Kim JinHo. Sooyoun and Jessica had the same vocal coach for about 5-6 years. But at the end, most of the main vocalists left, and so taeyeon was the only main vocal left. So SM had to pick one of the other 8 members to be a last minute vocalist and pair up with tae. SM chose Jessica while she was still a dancer. Jessica's vocals was actually built in scratch. Tiffany's and Sunny's training mainly focuses on dance and backup lead vocals until 2008 and 2009 when they became lead. Jessica at that stage had to just reach out from the basics and gain confidence to hit high notes like Taeyeon. To do this she was pressured to learn a F#5 and the first one in the snsd discography. the C5 was resonant but the 4:18 E5?
