That was a joke. :p

(Haha, oh, why? XD  Now I want to know!  I don't care about TT, you don't have to hold back on my account or anything.)

Well, S2's the voice part that usually gets to sing melody and doesn't have to go too high (or low), so of course there are plenty. XD  Alas that A2's lines are so often boring. :\

I hate Teen Top and I hate Ricky cuz my...bf thinks he is cute. LOL

S2 are bitches. dont u just wanna be born a soprano? Ik I do. LOL

lolololololol

Well, I'm not a guy, so I don't have your issues. XD  And it's not like I'm a contralto, anyway....  Besides, if you work enough on your falsetto, it doesn't seem like it should matter?  (But you're a baritone or something, aren't you?)

well I don't even wish I were a tenor, being a tenor would be boring~ lol

How is being a soprano more interesting except you'd be a different sex, too?  I thought tenors got good lines, generally.  I think being a contralto or countertenor should be the most interesting~

Well cuz most guys are Tenors and they usually suck at singing low and strain singing high, I prefer my singing :3 but Soprano is cooler cuz they r girls...

Ailee on Immortal Song makes everything better. Highest mix is F5, highest head is F#5 I think. All her runs are just ;_;

When are yo ugoing to give me that E6. I need it in my life.

(how does multiquote work? Like. After I select it. How do I make it quote.)

hopefully by the end of the week lol I listened to all her Immortal song performances, still not E3. ㅠ~ㅜ

gosh I doubt it. Her vocal range vid for Immortal Song has G3 as her lowest lol. Wait, do you find something for every single note? :o

he was wrong tho LOL there was F3 in one of her performances actually and F#3... Oh yes I do, I have everything from D3 ~ Bb3 but no E3

lol yeah there are some wrong notations in that as well. Her Halo performance should have an E3 at the really beginning but nope it's all breath.

Oh she has no E3 in Halo LOL she has F#3 but no E3~ and yes a couple of wrong notations, kinda how he missed a G5 and called some notes..like...there were a lot of wrong notations..OH n she used her head voice to hit a lot of notes in immortal song actually!

yeah, the missed G5 really bothered me, especially because she does it in one my favorite IS performances.... bleh maybe she absolutely does not have an E3 and that D3 was a one time thing. :p

that D3 was barely countable LOL and yeah it was like Eb5 G5 and he said Eb5 E5 and Im like what. LOL and I think she might have it hidden somewhere, I have 2 Eb3's ...she has a couple of G5s I noticed actually! :3 It makes me happy!

Oh... lol Well... she sang Stand Up For Love more times so you could check the other performances maybe u find smth

E3 would be off key LOL and in other ones u can barely hear it... lol I have like 3 F3's tho, which is very surprising. LOL... maybe I do have an E3...

Open-throated notes at some parts and raspiness at other parts (for effect). He did fine overall.

Being vocally untrained and having 3 octaves isn't weird. Since your voice sounds like key/onew and anything past A4/B4 sounds strained to you, I assume you're a tenor. You might develop into a baritone or baritenor in the future...

Key is a baritone but being untrained and he can hit A4/B4? He must be a tenor yes.

Im untrained. I know my range because of practicing aural exams for piano. Im vocally untrained though, but i have 3 octaves, is that wierd?

If I were to compare with another singer I would say my voice suits/sounds like shinee's key/onew the most, but sometimes i break into junsu/changmin like sound in my tessitura. But im definitely by far, far away from the skill of these guys. So probably  im baritenor. But I think im tenor because I just cracked comfortably (having a more consistent lower pitch) a bit over a year ago (im 16 and a bit). So probably when im a few years older ill settle into a baritenor.

I dont know how to raise my soft and upper palate, so notes past A4/B4 sound strained and shaky and difficult. I have very little understanding/application of resonance or open throat, because Ive never really fully explored that part although Ive tried to. I cant differentiate/do a head voice/falsetto with my voice. Its really bad and underdeveloped.

I wonder what itll be like if I would be trained vocally.

If It became trained, what position would be most appropriate.

Your vocal range and your vocal ability are two different things. One can obviously hit notes randomly with their voice, can you do it well? Musically? Every human has an average of about 3 octaves of range, the difference is if they can make it all supported and sound nice. This is why a range and a tessitura are different. Also it's okay to have upper belts that are strained, but sound kinda like singing and a lower range that's kinda breathy (not if you're a good vocalist) at least that's like enjoyable singing for the average human being, but if your notes are just screams lol having 3 octaves is nothing abnormal. So don't worry, you're normal, all you'd need is the skill to make what you naturally have usable. As for voice type, you can naturally hit A4/B4? You must be a tenor, it's not a place baritones go without some training, baritones without training edge on F4/G4 (they usually sound terrible). But we can't be sure if we can't hear your voice.

having abs wouldn't be very good for breathing right?

it's kinda irrelevant LOL I mean you can be as fat as pavarotti or have Jonghyun's abs, it's about the diaphragm and the control of the abdominal muscles, not how visible they are lol

He's definitely in the wrong octave lol remember it starts with G4, even tenors shud not be completely at ease with that note... Ever guy singing that softly shud be singing in head voice... Unless u r Bruno mars lol

I've got a question, is it possible for someone with a deep voice, yet light enough to be confused between a lower and a higher octave???

My voice always sounds much lighter when I listen to myself without recording (hence I thought I started in the 3rd octave)

It's CUZ u r not used to octaves... You're singing below a female ... It's CUZ to u it's not low but that's cuz that's ur middle octave

Okay. I tried to do it an octave higher. it's harder than I thought it would. xD

I was able to do a note below E2. D4 is my highest, but D5 when using falsetto.. xD

does it matter if i sing in solfege or in one vowel?

I see. and I don't exactly know. Well I don't really sing any songs sung by male singers because they sing pretty high for me. xD I sing songs sung by female singers more but an octave lower (?).

If D4 is too high for u, either u r a very untrained baritone or u r a bass baritone cuz B1 is low. Lol my father is like that

Actually the first question was more impt lol, hope you can answer that too.

As for my voice, it really sounds light when I listen to it in my head.

I know it isn't as light as a female's, but even kpop tenors sound deeper than girls (so I'm guessing if both start in the 3rd octave, it's more of a rounded up/down estimate)

At the same time, I checked out some guy's D2 notes on YT and I thought my voice was nowhere as deep, so i assumed 3rd octave.

You said I sing from my middle octave...but to find my range I would start as low as possible! (and still thought it from a 3rd octave)

Possible reason is that when I sing casually (pretty different from the recording you heard), I use like middle voice all the time (possible??) so it sounds lighter and I confuse it with tenors who love to sing 4th octave notes.

Right even I started I confused octaves a lot.. It's just lack of sensibility to octaves.. U get the pitch right but not the octave.. That's CUZ ur brain wants to play it safe n sing comfortably... I suppose... A basses D2 is fuller and heavier than a baritones D2, also the baritones will sound much more like a struggle
