The list is missing Jk Kim Dongwook  and Kang Taewoo (Soulman), also 40, Deez, Im Sejun.....quite a few good ones lol

December isn't nugu at all! lol Neither is Monday Kiz....and T-Blue...has disbanded. /pours a 40 for this group cuz they could sing

Well, technically it's just supposed to be idols, so I don't even know if all these groups quite qualify. XD

OH! it's just supposed to be idols....my apologies. LOL

Well, iirc that's supposed to be the case. XD  I mean, I think in the last list things were a little stretched, like are Davichi really idols, especially Haeri as opposed to Minkyung?  So maybe they'd put in some non-idols for context, but otherwise....

By the way when the list is done ya'll gonna help me look for material by these people.

By the way this guys voice is...basically the same as Nauls.

Only difference is this guys placement is alot better and his vibrato is cleaner.

Pardon my simple-minded question. Naul is an excellent vocalist right? If Lee Ryan is better, is he at like David Phelps' level??

He sounds more like Naul in this video (Even though the difference is pretty clear to me). Plus it's a compilation of belts.

You also said that my list is irrelevant? Ok then include B.E.S in too then XD. I'm sure Naul has been around longer than my list and I filtered them according to how often I see them on TV.

David phelps is classically trained. LOL

Lee Ryan is only a little better then Naul. Both a great vocalist though.

Thanks for the kind comment!

Yes, yes she is (good, that is)!

Would there be any reason to sing nasally or with "poor technique"? And how do you tell if they sing nasally or not?

I usually prefer it when performances aren't 100% perfect... gives it more of a personality I think

Nasal singing is when a singer doesn't lift their soft-palate, and poor technique is usually due to poor breath support and the vocalist not knowing about good vocal technique.

They sound like they're singing through their nose and those is whiny and thin.

@zhxzhx I think that Lay and Chen are probably on the same level, for the time being.

Is Japanese a very nasal language?

Any good Japanese vocalists?

Wondering where I could learn Vocal Pedagogy. Do I need a vocal teacher or can I self teach?

I've become very interested in vocals :lub:

All languages have nasal sounds, it's just some speak more nasally, like you could say southern accents can be more nasal.... Ik some japanese speakers who r nasal and some r not... you can learn by asking questions, researching, reading, listening and whatnot ^ ^ People here share their knowledge <3

Hi Just want to ask you. As a baritone like me, do you have difficulty singing pop songs?. Most mainstream singers are tenors right? I can only go up to F#4 in mixed (after some practice, I found my mix), how about you?
