She changed a few notes here and there and they sound stylistic to me, like she was actually trying to be creative.... To me it sounded fine. I think she had intonation issues in the beginning, but she sounded fine the rest of the song despite sounded nasally. I think she was actually trying to be careful with her larynx even though she kinda pulled it a few times. Its not as bad as earlier this year tho... If it was musicianship it would have at the minimum matched the key of the music and made sense musically. was she even trying to sing on the original key tho? I don't need to watch to know what this is and how true it is. yes, either by overworking or by straining and hurting yourself. Both are bad cases. Yes. It's pitchy, she's trying to change the melody sometimes and add herself into it and it's nice, beautiful tone, but she was so uncontrolled and pitchy, it's really annoying actually, it's really not nice to listen to. It makes me sad as a fan in a way lol It got so much better as she kept going actually but for the first half it was just messy...but yes this was the original key I believe. oh yeah! lol thank you lol OMG yess I agree. The first half was very pitchy, but the latter half was beautiful and she changed the melody nicely. She wasnt trying to scream as she usually does. She was beautiful at @1:35 and 1:20-25 whats really annoying is like she purposely tries to pull her larynx really high to reach a high note. She's so naaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaal.omg Why do some people say that Jessica's best solo was When you wish upon a star? It was bad. Although her mezzo piano was nice. A well supported lower notes and resonance and power in upper belts. Her vocals esp in Hazardous and Somewhere in the Real World albums are awesome. That list is so BS. Like Volume and Expressiveness? What? lmfao Im not sure. I dont really keep track of her solo performances because theyre quite few. Jiyul or akisame might know if there is a better one. Other than it she did alright. She played with dynamics too. I think shes decent. She sounds healthy right up in her higher extension and upper belts. She maintains tonality in her lower extension and her head voice is beautiful. She plays around with dynamics which is nice. And if you're at all busty, forget it. But they are nice and plain. The idea behind that is so that focus is on the music and on the expressions on the face, not on the individuals. So a plain black dress is the way to go. I'm studying gregorian chant in music history right now, and I was glad this DOESN'T sound anything like chant music lol. Gregorian chant doesn't have any harmonies so it gets tedious after a while. Its been three to 4 years years since I studied about gregorian. It is a Demonym for those who come from countries that are in the continent of Asia. It is a word that incorporates diverse regions and people rather than a homogeneous physical entity. The majority of Indians in the North East are mongoloid and there are plenty of Afghans, Central Asians and Pakistanis that are mongoloid, too. Mongoloids are commonly referred to as asians when talking ethnically, so thats my bad. I guess I shouldnt be ignorant because I myself am asian lol. Yeah, I also notice that the Pakistani and afghan migrants and friends I have look very asian. Also not to forget millions of russians are mongoloid too. Vanessa Amorosi is probably the best rock singer, technique wise and Amy Lee from Evanesence is decent.
