So he doesn't tell them what notes to sing....then who does that ? Because anyone who tells Tiffany to do anything a Ccc....B4 needs a firm slap in the face. Dat very mediocre support and nasal placement~

That also, like sing that note high. But it all depends on the key of the song too. Ccc what?

It was obvious because I honestly thought the same thing...but I didn't want to admit she had a pitch problem lol.....

LET'S EVICT THIS BIASED PERSON FROM HERE!!!! :hurr: :hurr:

was Sohyang's flatness not obvious? i remember the first time i watched that clip and though it was soo awful even though she was so resonant... lol.. it just kept going down...  :._.:

ok~ should prob catch up on my ear training first though lol. hating on aug4/dim5, min7 and maj7

It was very obv. She was flat till the end. She never went back up once she went flat.

What do you guys think of Lea Salonga? How would you rate her singing? :3

She's great.

Hmm, really?

I think style is pretty important, though. There has to be that "wow" factor, what's the theme of your song.

So, if you're singing a ballad with no style, like no dynamic changes, it'll be funny. And vocalists have to sing exactly what is on paper, right?

Or my definition of style is different from your's. lol

omfg.

The more you know.

Thanks for answering my questions! ^^

Dynamics = volume control in vocals.

LOL

I'm just surprise they choose Sooyoung. I thought they would choose one of the members from the vocal line or atleast a more popular member.

It's fake. She's not having a solo.

So, singers don't use dynamics at all?

lol, and I thought they did. But just staying in the mezzo-forte/forte area. :p

Most of them don't. Basically they belt in forte. And sometimes mezzo-forte and fortissimo.

I had a feeling it was fake.

I've been trolled Dx

You just do not believe anything that's related to SNSD member releasing a solo album. Because it's always gonna be fake.

I've learned so much from you guys.

You guys studied in music theory? Because you guys sound like professionals. lol

Most of us have studied vocal pedagogy. Music theory is diff lol

omg.

I used the wrong term. I keep thinking that music theory is pretty much the things you guys talked in general. lol

lol, I confuse things with each other alot. Sorry.

lol music theory is diff. Most of us don't know abt it. Some people here do know abt it tho but don't talk abt it much. I'm only a little familiar with them myself.

Just that one time ok ~~ I'm 94.5% of the time truthful.

Bitch please >.> I don't care if you have a male organ >.> You are my least favorite son-in-law.

Puh-lss I'm the only one there is. :hurr: :hurr:

Love this performance

Loved it.

a dark lyric soprano, with good lower... '-' it's a hybrid, like falcons

Dugazon is not used outside of Opera. And it's a Dark Colored Soubrette actually, which is basically a not so trained LLS with a darker timbre.

so is french wiki wrong for calling it a light mezzo?

No. Mezzos have darker timbre, so it's a Soubrette/LLS with a mezzo timbre, maybe that's why they called Dugazons as Light Mezzos.

Tom if you don't ignore kongwee, I'll murder you. :donthinkso: :donthinkso: I'm surprised that people are still arguing with him. Srsly, it's not hard to put him under ignore and it's totally free. Try it!

Oh pls, stop it. I never said it was a bad thing, teehee.

So is overly fast vibrato a bad thing?

Yeah she was off her game in that concert. Couldn't even reach her Twinkle strains at all.

Yes. Did you not read OP? lol vibrato is explained there. An overly fast vibrato is because of improper support and improper cord closure.

can falsetto be resonant?

Falsettos are weak airy sounds. It has many limitations one of them being that falsettos cannot have full tonality and no resonance.

Oh ok see you later <\3 T______T

T__T </3 bye~

You guys never learn. Now I'm annoyed by you all giving time to kongwee. SMH

And Panda, Potential depends on improvement. Soyou has not improved, therefore she has no potential as of now. More improvement = more potential.

I didn't know Goodluck studied this kind of thing. I'm impressed.

What do you guys think of Ra.D? What's your rating of him? :3

Ra.D damn I love this guy LOL His songs are my jams. But vocally he's quite mediocre. He gets tense at F#4s.
