I actually don't know... it might be a receptor for the instrumental/back track that they perform with so singers can sing along with a guide. It probably has something to do with their mics and system input.... maybe special effects like reverb can be added to live vocals with this too. I think they just had a high average of vocal talent in the group as a whole.. nobody was an outstanding singer, but at the same time nobody was dead weight. I think Junsu is in the top 10 though (?). And they harmonized well.... I think they're called that mostly because of their flaw-free acapellas XDDD Kind of like CSJH. Not all the members were superb, but they had a high average of vocal talent. I still don't quite use the open throated term as often, to me it was small resonance, it could've been more focused, forward and fuller. Can we still add it to her list of good C#5's though? I desperately want D.O and Kyuhyun to became two great vocalists, and Lina to dethrone Ailee, but... Well, they're kind of... stuck not Kyuhyun, maybe... I'm probably biased, but if CSJH never dissolved and Lina was still active in the kpop scene, there's a good chance her vocals would have continued improving as they did up to the years before CSJH vanished. In theory, if she kept performing and joined Immortal Song, it's possible that she would have dethroned Ailee. Unfortunately, Lina lost motivation and turned her attention elsewhere because CSJH wasn't getting nearly enough exposure they deserved. Ailee has lots of great performances, but most good clips of Lina are through ghetto fancams of off-broadcast performances or small events... we'll never know the potential she could have reached at her prime. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How much higher than F4 can you sing? C4? Where's your head voice break? F4? You could be a dark tenor? Idk I really would benefit from listening to your actual singing lol I don't tend to use a piano to find sung notes, I can, but I usually just use my own voice to find it lol so I can adjust to how flat/sharp they are and tell if they're sharp or flat lol I couldn't really adjust my voice to notes on the keyboard when I was younger lol this is random but what kind of baritone am i? i looked through the OP but it just lists singers that are classified under each category but not why D: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
