Also I enjoyed the taiwanese drama 'Back to 1989' a lot even though it wasn't much hyped abroad. Definitely cute romance =) Mixed also with a dose of friendship, time-travel and mistery... I liked Autumn's Concerto even though Vaness Wu's character was such an asshole. Hot Shot even though it was unrealistic af (Yeah, I love my F4 boys so much). Romantic Princess, although I honestly don't remember what it was about, just that liked it when it was still airing. Lol. I also liked Love of the Condor Heroes, but you said you weren't interested in historical. Edit: Sorry. I didn't read the word "recent" in your title.
