Can anyone explain to me why China is so unreasonable? regarding the uyghurs, tibatans, Taiwanese etc etc

Recently I discovered that China is being extremely unreasonable and a way i can't understand nor anyone can understand. As you may know China has ancient Muslim population in the eastern part. China crackdown on the area recently banning many things. So the uyghurs said you know what we will just leave? So china banned them from leaving and these who left china is still after them for simply just leaving the area and migrating to other countries.

They have contacted some of the countries they have bussiness deals with whom they have leverage over since they have signed lucrative deals with these countries to return all their ugyhur citizens to the country who just left china period to start life elsewhere? So what I don't understand is why are you calling back someone who disagreed and chose to leave peacefully to pursue life elsewhere. I just couldn't understand this which leads me to believe china is unreasonable

If the scope of Korea or Japan was as big as China with 50+ minority groups and 1.3 Billion people, I don't think they'd do a better job.

It actually might even be worse.

I'm just gonna let China do China since I'm not from Mainland or anywhere near there anyway :D

Politicians being reasonable? When?

This is beyond politicians unreasonable level. Someone left the area peacefully without causing harm to his original homeland to pursue life elsewhere but china demanded them back. Some of these countries they asked had no other option then to return them back or otherwise they could lose economical deals so they had to deport them back to China

China has a lot of issues; all countries do, obviously, but such large countries with so many borders tend to have more questionable issues.

Sometimes the world sucks, idk what to say other than that. It sucks that these things happen, but they aren't isolated to one country.

It might sound unreasonable to you but you have to take into consideration whether these people took the proper proceedings to renounce their Chinese citizenship. You can't just up and leave a country expecting them to let you go. This is especially true in communist/socialist countries where many of the luxuries such as power, water, streets, healthcare, education, and even your housing are collectively subsidized by the whole population / centralized government. That is like the government paying for your education, but then you leave the country, contributing nothing to the country that spent money educating you.

Example: recently Egypt have arrested about 130 eastern chinese citizens who were studying in the azhar university for deport to china at the request of China. These students have invested alot of money to enter the uni and pay the fees, apartment rents and what not and they basically re-started life on a new fresh page. Egypt have no beef with the students nor it's chinese students who are inside Egypt but it's China who have requested them arrested and deported back to them ASAP.

While Egypt have no option to refuse due to them having made lucrative construction deals with China and it's not only egypt but other countries China is deporting them back from.

Many Eastern chinese citizens live across these countries and some of them have been there decades but China is requesting them back and asking governments to arrest them then deport them back to the chinese gov't ASAP.

This don't make sense

You know you can't just immigrate to a new country and drop your old country like it's hot. Right? wthplz.png

This is especially true for China which does not allow dual citizenship.

The chinese are notoriously know to immigrate example I have meet 3rd, 4th or even 5th generation Fujian Chinese in the west. American-Chinese, British-Chinese, canadians-chinese etc etc. They are everywhere and it's completely normal. People start life allover the world and move from one area to another for better opportunities etc etc.

Some of them are like 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th generation chinese diasporas who can't be called back the same with the Ugyhurs, Hong kong, Taiwanese and other chinese from different provinces.

Why would China have the ability to call back a third, fourth, or fifth generation Chinese diaspora if they are not a Chinese citizen? That means their families would have left China back in the 1800s, China has no sway over them anymore. If they are not born in China and do not hold Chinese citizenship then what makes you think China would be able to call them back? China can't just call back a person for being ethnically Chinese if they don't hold Chinese citizenship. The way you described the Egyptian situation, it seems that those people are Chinese nationals, with Chinese citizenship, in Egypt on student visas. So yes, China can call them back if they wish.

As my previous post stated, you can't just leave your country without renouncing your citizenship and paying the appropriate fees. China can call back any of its citizens, Fujian immigrants too, if they were still Chinese citizens.
