LifeIsDelusionInMotion 199 Posted July 20, 2017 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Emancipation of Mimi was a good album, had a more cohesive sound and songs worth listening to beyond the released singles unlike some of the albums she did before EoM. Listening to the album gave a feeling of 'Mariah is back!', a higher quality production and her gorgeous vocals well used. But would I say Emancipation of Mimi beats every other Mariah release before and after? No, Daydream is still a cut above the Emancipation of Mimi, EoM would be worthy of #2. C'mon, Mariah, just do it one last time. Drop some pounds, drop that Brian guy and the your manager, give up the hip-hop image and leotards, have some vocal rest and then come back like the diva you are !
