BANANALEMON haven't had their major debut yet but they've been releasing songs since 2016. BANANALEMON don't know if they'll go along with the usual formats of albums but they don't know if they won't either. BANANALEMON started with 4 members Nadia, Saarah, R!no and Mizuki. Half way through 2018 R!no wasn't appearing with them to places cause she was sick. Then in September 2018 it was officially announced R!no would be leaving the group because of health reasons. BANANALEMON worked as 3 members until the end of April 2019 when they released the new song #Slayasian where they announced their new member Lety who was a member of Def Will but Def Will disbanded last year. They call themselves a Girl Squad because they are not limited by the concepts of the current existing girl groups. BANANALEMON style, musically and fashion, have been inspired by the 90's while also putting their own flair in to it. The concept of the group is Girl Crush and Cool Girl. Even with R&B and Hip Hop as their backbone BNLM is considered “NEO-JPOP†meaning a new generation J-POP with powerful dance, overwhelming singing & Rapping ability, and world-oriented music that draws the attention from both home and abroad. They want to be known not only in Japan but also globally and loved by many. They want to perform globally as well~ Bananalemon group name: Based on the duality of the sweet and cute Banana and the slightly bitter and cool lemon. Some of Bananalemon’s charm points is definitely their live performances. Also they have competitive minds where they want to improve by watching and learning from each other which leads to efficient high quality performances. It's a song they haven't performed or shown yet but it's in the ad. It's actually supposed to be styled like that. It's supposed to be shoot in the 90's grungey style!
