I haven't heard about that She was on Hello Counselor and one of the troubles was a woman who was basically a slave to her lazy ass husband. The wife did all the house chores, worked like 10-12 hours a day, etc... Pretty much everyone was critical of the husband and Cao Lu said something like "I really like that kind of man who tells me what to do". More comments like that. She's been to several shows this year, like Knowing Brothers, had drama cameos, and was a fixed cast in Strong Girls (with Luna, Youngji, Giant Pink, etc..) Her South Sea statement damaged her career though. It's hard to get invited into variety shows when you don't have any comebacks. I'm looking at you, Loen. Dude, the collab was on the melon 100 chart for weeks (got up to #7) and they didn't even promoted it in music shows. She sounded like someone from another century. Even thou she says that, she doesn't applied it, she kept bossing Seho around on WGM, lol. whatever, that is what she likes, what can you do? No one likes scientology or that Tom Cruise is deep in it, but every one watch a Tom cruise movie as soon as it is out, because he is a good actor. It's the same for this girl, people watch her cause she is funny, thats it. That is what is keeping her around. Did the whole "South China Sea" statement buried her career? People are messing the timing. Call me crazy but I'm thinking that that South China Sea thing was just media play, regardless of what she thinks she could have kept quiet, and most people think she should, However her company let her post it and let her leave it, what the hell? I'm thinking Loen was planing it, because after she was grouped with the other popular china kids that also posted about it like victoria, zhou mi, etc, she started getting noticed more, because it's easier to be controversial and get haters? truth is, a lot of people who didn't knew her commented on her and searched for her. But after that she still had tv appearances, she even hosted two tv shows, still on the radio, had the collab with kisum and yerin, now she is doing stuff in china and still appears on korean tv. Or maybe she is less active and I am crazy, dunno. The thing is that Cao Lu has less fans than the other chinese kids, so it seems that she has less support. Everyone had hate at the beginning but for some is unexistant nowadays; however Cao Lu still gets these comments about the China sea statement burying her carrier.
