Hi flover!!! It's Chaeyoung on her 21st birthday hehe. Back in the day, my birthday didn't mean much, but it's become so much special since meeting our flover. What follows is all conjecture and may have no correspndence to reality:

I've been thinking OTR probably had no plans for a late-spring/early-summer Korean comeback for fromis_9. So they didn't have anything for the girls 'cause they might only have thought about starting to plan for Korean promotions only after they were done with the Japan stuff. Maybe they were eyeing a late-July to early-Sept period. 

If so, that would pretty much confirm fromis as one comeback per year, and probably having to wait till after april 2021.

I think OTRs schedule might be something like: 

late Jun/July - izone

late jul to sept - fromis

oct/nov - izone

march/april - izone farewell

Anyway, feels like fromis are getting clc'd; hopefully they don't get pristin'd.

Agree, there were probably never any plans for a 1st half Korean comeback. At most, maybe they were going to release a special video or something for their anniversary in January, but that got scraped due to the CJ/Producer scandal. March/April was for Japan fanmmeet and pre-release single. Possibly an official debut in May/June. Plus the premiere of Gyuri new drama. During the scandal even when fromis wasn't active on sns, we were still getting some Japanese interviews. A few of them the girls mention learning Japanese and practicing songs, so there was defiantly suppose to be more Japanese activities and promotions.

However due to Covid plans changed. And as we discussed before, OTR don't have a contingency plan. Mainly due to lack of money. All they can do is try to stick to the original plan as best they can. So hopefully that means we're getting a comeback in July/Aug. (June is already filled with so many girl groups...)

I know a lot of the agencies aren't great at communicating with fans, but a lot of fan "anxiety" could be assuaged with some fairly generic communiques.

OTR could have said something along the lines of:

"We know you want see/meet fromis, the members want to see you too. We were diligently preparing for Japanese promotions but the global health situation we sadly couldn't do it at this time. As things stand we need time to readjust so that the group can meet fans under more positive conditions. Please wait for fromis as they get ready to prepare for future promotions. We will be releasing content on youtube and social media regularly, and will let you know when we are closer to meeting you once again."

That took less than 2 minutes to write. It may be PR speak, but it let's you know something, at least. Instead a lot of fans keep expecting a comeback announcement that won't come (soon), are disappointed, and grow increasingly frustrated.

Anyway, I'll keep waiting..

@Didact Taleh I agree. An official announcement from OTR would of been nice. Especially considering fromis situation is different compared to some since we as fans have been waiting and uncertain for so long now. It would of been nice to have some assurance.(((

its been awhile since i post, but its so disappointing with the recent events unfold.

with corona, japan debut cancelled, and now sister group comeback just after 3 months and meanwhile were still waiting 1 year later.

all that rants, tweet, videos asking justice for fromis has no effect, its like talking to a wall.

its funny, how i want to take back my word and hoping fromis gets transferred to pledis, for a chance to be acquired by bighit

but alas, we can only wait
