I ask that question a while back. I too was hoping for them. I've always stanned groups who done them. So I never knew groups didn't.

Someone here said depending on the group CJ/OTR don't necessarily do Season Greetings :((( I don't think it has to do with the scandal.

When companies don't do them, that give room for fansite to sell them. And I've seen many. So maybe it's a way to build the fandom and/or keep fansites. Fansites are the core of most fandoms, especially on the Korean side. I also notice OTR (and the Producer groups) take pictures with birthday project ads (which also usually run by top fansites)

OT: The last one I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh. As someone who mostly have stanned BGs, the fandom usually go crazy with the birthday ads and projects for boy group members. Cfans are especially rich! So picking a few fansites to take photos with would create competition and tension. Also nowadays with in one fandom I stan many are pushing for more charity and donation type projects. Donate in the artist name. It's become really big.

While fromis is still young and establishing their fandom, I guess it's fine to show favoritism. Hopefully it's something they phase out with time as they get bigger.

(Rough trans) fromis_9’s Saerom Cosmopolitan Interview

Q: This time you shot a December pictorial that will wrap up 2019, then there’s one month left before 2019 ends. What does this year mean for fromis_9?

Saerom: In June, fromis_9 first single album <FUN ACTORY!> was released and that was the most blessed thing to us. We put a lot of effort in it. We also received a lot of warmth from Flovers, we’re very happy. Also, members noticed our weaknesses and will try to improve for a better future.

Q: In the promotion of <FUN FACTORY!> there’s a nickname called phytoncide

Saerom: We always hope that everyone will be able to receive positive energy from us. Let us become your healing from your busy life, and we’re on the same page.  We will keep showing fromis_9 colorful side and work hard to become the healing point for Flovers in the future

Q: Not as fromis_9 but as twenties’ Lee Saerom, what do you think about 2019, is there something you want to praise yourself or something that you feel regret?

Saerom: “Things that I never did before, things that I want to do, I want to do it fearlessly”. This was my target in 2019, chasing my dream bit by bit. There were times that I felt tired, but even so I did not give up that easily. This is the part that I want to praise myself on. The regretful part is that if I can look upon myself more straight forward before doing anything. There are a lot of things that I’m still learning, there are things that I’m afraid of, but I decided to overcome all of those things and keep going.

Q: Depending on the stage concept, you try out a lot of different make up styles. Is there any you like the most?

Saerom: I like a slim eye line more, or just neatly extended the eye line a bit longer, and make up that focus on eyelashes. My eyes are bit special. Different styles of makeup show different kinds of feelings.

Q: Girl groups showed us some next level makeup skills that almost matched with the professionals recently. What do your makeup skills look like?

Saerom: I prefer skin management type of makeup. I just do base makeup normally but it’s more like natural looks. Maybe because I didn’t do makeup very often, so it tends to look unnatural when I do makeup. I really pay attention to fashion and makeup, so I watch makeup product videos very often. I want to try natural makeup the most, and I like the makeup that I have for the pictorial shooting today. I want to learn it as well.

Q: About skin management, what’s the main part of it? Like “No matter how busy I am, I must do this” this kind of hard law of self-management?

Saerom: The makeup I put on stage is a lot heavier than usual isn’t? So, I try to remove it as soon as possible. Of course, more often than thinking of this being troublesome and tiring, I think of not wanting to delay it even more. When my skin is in a dry condition, I use face wash milk cleansers a lot less. I just wash with makeup remover oils. After I’m done washing my face I don’t dry my face with a towel, I put on lotion instead. This is my way.

Q: In 2020, fromis-9’s Lee Saeron, what’s your plan?

Saeron: Rather than a plan that’s grand and gorgeous, I more focus on a daily plan that’s already happening. Keep doing my best for the people that keep supporting us, cheering for us.  With a mentality like this, there is nothing I can’t do. Then when I look back on 2020 to the things I did do, it will be very satisfying.

We're all tired
But i don't even know if they gonna talk about Idol School anymore

All the recent news we get is about CJ and Produce and not even one mention about Idol School

Yeah, the Idol School stuff seems forgotten right about now. Hopefully though, it won't be like 6 months down the line when fromis is getting ready for their one comeback a year and suddenly, "hey remember Idol School? Here's all the bad stuff!"

fckkk i hope it's not another 6 months. for one, i was hoping for a comeback before then 

reading the reports it sounds like ment/cj is tired too. they're ready to put this entire scandal behind them and move on

i'm lowkey optimistic right now. i feel like in the end things are going to work out for fromis

Let's pray for fromis Considering OTR continue to release content I feel hopeful about the entire group

Saerom, Jisun, Hayoung especially seem safe since OTR have continue to upload individual content of these three.

I feel with all the Japanese content we've been getting it will be Japanese first then afterwards a Korean comeback

However I'm not sure. It could be the other way around too
