LOOOOL this is somewhat not true. The atmosphere was high, but the ticket sales was a huge slump, so huge they decided to closed off the entire second section of seats and everyone who bought the 200 level tickets got relocated to the 100 level. So it was only GA floors and the 1st level seats that was taken up and there was still about 25% empty seats.

Still a great concert, but can't believe he sold only about 55% of the tickets :(

i guess he's a bit ambitious trying to do whole arena tour in usa. but then theatre would be too small for him.

If you check ticketmaster only 2k tickets left from 16k capacity arena, what 55% are you talking about? The tickets was at least 80% sold. It was a successful concert.

Not very surprising to have haters flocking into this thread LOL. It was a successful concert and jam packed with people (both non-VIPs and VIPs). Congrats GD on another successful concert and a solo at that. Others can only wish to achieve half of what GD has.

I was at the concert- I bought tickets in the 200 level but was upgraded HOWEVER there were still a ton of people sitting in the 200 level seating. The concert was pretty full -way more than you are making it out to be. He did a great job and gave a few extremely sincere speeches in English- I found him to be way more endearing solo than when he tours with BigBang

How was the capacity of the venue? Tbh, most kpop acts can't even sell out venues of 4-6k in US (like it happened in SHINee's tour for example), so if the venue was too big it's understandable. Kpop is still very niche outside Asia.

The capacity is around 16k, and he sold around 13k-15k. Someone is just annoyed by other success.

That's actually pretty decent for a solo artist? Idk why are people saying he only sold 55% of the capacity then.
