on the other hand, Luhan is attracted to Kai's charisma (i mean who isn't though), not like romantic/sexual attraction, but like how we tend to be drawn to charismatic people. as one of the eldest who also inclines toward taking care of dongsaengs, Luhan likes taking care of Kai, but it's more than a sort of maternal (paternal?) instinct. Luhan seems to like reaching for/holding Kai's hand, ever since early debut days (see gif's for evidence).

- age gap. Luhan is the second oldest, theoretically they wouldn't be as close as they are.

- being in different subunits. theoretically one should be closest to members of the same subunit, esp during MAMA era when they had activities in different places and lived in different dorms for the majority of the time.

- body language. Kai (when sitting/standing next to Luhan) tends to tilt his body toward Luhan when he's embarrassed/frightened. Luhan would subconsciously bow or nod when Kai bows (aka mirroring in psychology).

 

another big reason why i liked her analysis so much is that she gives evidence and very solid rationale. she also emphasizes that she believes they're both straight (i believe this too), but there's something more to their relationship than pure platonic feelings. she's not a delusional shipper who insists that her otp is yaoi. every point she makes is grounded. the way she addresses some doubts other shippers (e.g., hunhan) have re: kailu also makes sense.

I paid a lot of attention to this ship and here my opinion in RED  and I tried to give you some "real" evidences
