I only follow GD, Chanyeol and TOP from that top ten. Also it's not hard to copy paste or use the Korean keyboard to find GD, I don't think the minor slow down in followers will change the fact that he's a wall.

I did wonder. His account doesn't come up if you search For G Dragon or Kwon Jiyong on IG in English. Wonder why he did that? because of Album name or he just wants to distance from GD. Wonder if he realize its making a difference to his numbers.

Yeah, I tried to Google it and GD's IG still came up. Don't know how it could be done if we are in IG tho...

 

I think it can still affect GD significantly because many of GD's followers aren't really stans but casual followers who are simply curious of who GD is and have no idea who Kwon Jiyong is. So once they can't find his name on IG, they might not do more searches and just move on to other recognized kpop act. GD had one of the most increases in IG followers in teh previous months iirc. Now, he isn't in the 300k or the 200k...
