 COLOUR CONUNDRUM 

You have arrived at Level 3! All you have to do is complete one easy puzzle.

 

Rules 

The objective of this puzzle is to place TWO check marks (or any marks) in each row, column, and colour keeping in mind these rules:

 

1. No two marks can be touching, meaning there can't be two directly horizontally, vertically or even directly diagonally from each other.
2. Every column and every row must have ONLY two marks.
3. Every colour must have ONLY two marks.

To help you solve, try to cross out boxes that can't have a check mark due to the fact that if they did, it would break one or more of the rules.

 

Once you solve this, use the letters and numbers to get the passcode starting with first numbers. The passcode only includes the numbers 0-5 written with the letter first. The passcode is in all caps with a space in between (e.g. A0 B0 A1 B1..).

DON'T INCLUDE THE LETTER FOR THE LAST 5. Passcode only has 11 letter/number pairs!

 

 

You have 48 hours to complete. 

 

I'll give hints after 24 hrs if a lot of people are struggling.

its not that hard.. it just seems complicated

Is this like Sudoku

a bit cuz theres a limited number per column row and colour.. but not rly otherwise

SOLVED IT! TOOK AN HOUR+ now to decode ~

hmm i think u may have done it faster than sam

 

took me 13min. but i was a bit more familiar with the game

well I didnt know you have to start by crossing out cases that can't have any mark possible!!

i mean u dont have to.. but it helps

if yall think this is hard, blame sam for the doing the one i was gonna give too quickly. he made me think i needed to up the difficulty

But the code, how to count it?

put the letter, then the number but only for the numbers 0-5. the corresponding letter can be any of the letters.

this got me thinking.

 

if this had been the level 2 puzzle, and sam's had been this level's task, i actually think more people would be more motivated to complete the missions seeing that they've gotten further; closer to the vault.

 

instead of 20 or so, i would have expected 30-40.

we were thinking it's just a lot of work, not too hard. but ppl got intimidated
