How Do People Watch Attack On Titan

Even me as a teenage boy can't handle the eating people, and blood and gore, it's so hard to watch. I mean I wouldn't mind roleplaying in bed with Donghae being the titan and me being a small innocent human getting "eaten" but the the show in general is too much.

I have brothers who are younger than you but they can still handle it...

I don't mind the eating people part, but I'm over the whole "whoa, this is a big bad guy, we'll never beat him! oh we beat him. But here's an even BIGGER one!" thing in anime. Its kinda played out now imo

Isn't this how basically every story works

I laughed more than I should have.

But yeah I don't think it's that gory, you can handle it

I don't know, it never really phased me. I watched Snk and other anime of the same kind when I was 13-14 because I wanted to seem cool and "look at me I'm watching something that's for 17+ ages!!1!"

but genuinely liked it though

I don't know, but for me it's probably because I have a weak heart and I'm super sensitive to blood and people getting torn in half?? My friend loves it and I really wanna watch it but all the clips I see make my stomach churn...

I take it you don't watch much anime/non action movies?

No I'm aware of other storytelling structures but given the fact that aot IS an action-based anime, it's to be expected

Idk if you've read the manga but it's really not as much of a traditional format as you think

But I'm saying, the action genre's storytelling format in general is very overdone, which is why I couldn't get into AoT.

Lol the story takes a completely different turn from the typical narrative style you described

Ah. Well, if you ever do decide to read the manga or get past where Season 2 has ended, you'll be surprised
