Automatic (I like the concept and dance for Be Natural much more, but I like Automatic as a song more)

 

Rookie. As much as I like Red Flavor, Rookie is still my jam till this day. Only time will tell if Red Flavor will have this longevity.

 

Overall it's Dumb Dumb. A+ song, dance, styling and MV.

Yikes this ended up being longer than I anticipated

 

 

 

 

#1 - Dumb Dumb. The holy wall. Everything was perfect! Stylng, MV, song, vocals, choreo. How can anything ever top this masterpiece?

#2 - ICC - the first RV song I heard and what a slayyyyy. The chorus is effortlessly catchy and the MV is the best RV had ever had. Plus the styling was really good. Plus a choreo that snatched. And who can forget the iconic "lalalalala" part?

#3 - Red Flavor - Hard for me since I wanted to put it at #1. The only thing that brings this track down is the MV. Though I'm actually warming up to it and will probably end up liking it, DD and ICC are still visual walls. Plus the choreo for the other two songs were more memorable. But RF has fantastic melody, great outfits, great choreo. Plus it comes with their best mini to date

#4 - Russian Roulette - It was underwhelming at first but this song really ages well. It's so catchy and has a great melody. The MV it top notch although the styling a little too simplistic. It's quickly becoming a favorite tho.

#5 - Happiness - Iconic debut song. I know most people say it's messy but I think that's what makes the song so unique. Plus the MV is a perfect introduction to quirky-Velvet

#6 - Automatic - No Velvet song has matched this one yet. None! This has that '90s and early '00s vibe that I really like. Plus the MV is majestic. Plus....VOCAL VELVET SNATCHING WEAVES!!

#7 - OOTN - Great song. Not my favorite Velvet track but the production is so beautiful. I love the vocals, the MV, everything. I just think that there are better Velvet songs.

#8 - Rookie - I actually liked Rookie when it came out but it doesn't age that well. Now that I think back on it, it's probs RV's 'worst' title track. Not that I think it's bad (the instrumental is legit a slay and the overall production value is nice) but it was overshadowed by a very strong mini. I don't blame people who don't like it.

#9 - Be Natural - godly vocals but the song still lacks that umph factor. No matter, it's a wonderful song there are just other RV songs that are better.

i remember i was so disappointed on first listen but its crazy how i start to love it on 2nd listen and still play it every week now
