Their sales compete with top tier big three groups but you don't hear so much buzz about them in comparison to Twice and BP stans. Anyone else? They're really popular internationally, but they're no means NOT popular in Korea. Their popularity is quite big in Korea (although not as much as Twice and BB to the general public), but they have a huge fandom there and the public is getting to know their name. I think it's just that they're really popular overseas that their popularity in Korea is small in comparison. As for OP's question, Mamamoo was the group I immediately thought of. Groups that are more popular domestically and given scant attention internationally generally comes from the non-big3. BTS being a recent example of an exception. Oh yerah this is a really big one.
