K-"ELFs" are conducting a "survey" about 8jib. (AKA another way to attempt to rule SuJu with an iron fist.)

 Saw this on Tumblr.  Now that K-"ELFs" have successfully dictated which member gets to sit out the next cb, they've decided to submit their opinions on the cb to SM. Classic "give someone an inch, and they'll take a mile". imstupid.png

Let K-ELF and SM know you support #SungminSTAY!

Hey everyone! I found on twitter that K-ELF have made a form to collect opinions about 8jib which they are planning to submit to SM. Based on who is currently circulating it, they will probably get a lot of response from #sungminout-ers, so let’s all jump in and fill this thing with our support. This form is only active from now until July 9th KST (time not specified) so fill it out ASAP!The form is here and a tutorial to fill it out is below:

Super Junior 8jib Opinion Form

In order to receive a greater variety of opinions than is possible from multiple choice, we are conducting [this survey] as short answer.
Thank you for writing your usual thoughts in as much detail as possible ^^
(Rather than “no reply†please write at least one sentence.
If all non-multiple-choice questions are left blank there will be no response.)

We plan to submit this through official channels.
Please only share this among Super Junior fans.
Please pass this around as quickly as possible since we are only accepting opinions until Sunday the 9th.
Although we are thankful for even abstract opinions, if you enter specific examples from Suju albums or other artists, we will be able to pass on the information more clearly.
To prevent redundant answers in the multiple choice questions, you may only submit the form one time. Please fill out the form carefully.

Response period: 2017.07.07 (Fri) - 2017.07-09 (Sun)

You cannot submit the form without logging in (this is to prevent duplicate responses). In order to do so click on the link at the top as shown and log in with your Naver account. If you don’t have one, you can just link your facebook.

C. Question Translations

Here are translations of all the questions. The first several are just questions about the album which you can answer how you like, but questions 15-16 are the best place to write your thoughts on Sungmin. I still encourage you to fill out all the questions in Korean if you can or in simple English, because more complete forms might be taken more seriously. Here are all of the questions in English:

1. Which Super Junior album do you like the best? [1jib / 2jib / 3jib / 4jib / 5jib / 6jib / 7jib / Special Album]
1-1. Why you chose X jib above [short answer]
2. Title song: [Focus on one song as usual / Double title song]
3. (After chart reorganization) Song release time: [Noon / 6pm]
3-1. Why you chose the above time [short answer]
4. Album appearance: Packaging, ways to get fans to buy more albums (Individual jackets, N types of photocards/posters, random benefit coupon, etc) [short answer]
5. Concept (Abstract responses are OK but it is better to give specific examples from SJ’s existing albums or other artists) [short answer]
6. Clothes, hair, makeup (Abstract responses OK, specific examples preferred) [short answer]
7. Music video (Overall thoughts, ways of increasing view count, etc) [short answer]
8. Dance (Abstract concepts OK, specific examples preferred) [short answer]
9. Promotion method (Advertisements, news, teasers for each song, pre-release, etc.) [short answer]
10. Variety and other TV programs (List existing variety programs, etc) [short answer]
11. Production contents (Dance practice video, V app, reality, etc) [short answer]
12. Ways to make 8jib appeal to the public [short answer]
13. Concert (Songs that should be performed, etc) [short answer]
14. Fanclub business (Lightstick, presale, fanmeeting or birthday party, etc, any event ideas for fans) [short answer]

I don’t want to organize the responses too much because I want it to be clear that many different people are responding. But whatever you choose to write about Sungmin in questions 15-16, I encourage you to be clear, brief, and civil.Remember that there’s a good chance the survey organizers have some resentment of I-ELF and ranting will just make us look worse. In a few short sentences, express your disappointment that Sungmin will not appear in this album and your hope that he will begin participating in activities ASAP.

D. When you are done, remember to click the big green 제출하기 button at the bottom to submit!

We can’t be sure that they will actually pass along our feelings to SM. But at a bare minimum, we can demonstrate to them that real ELF love and support Sungmin and those who don’t are in the minority. Let’s get as many people as we can to fill out this form and show our love for Sungmin!

 

 

Would be nice if I-ELFs could flood this thing to have a say; let SuJu know that most of their fans are not actually batshit crazy. smile.png

Wasn't it years ago that there was some kind of joke about "ELF Entertainment" where Super Junior and their fans would lovingly work together in their management or something? Did nobody tell them that nobody actually meant it when that joke was made? 0u0plz.png

no , seriously, this is batshit crazy. why are they being so entitled. these are definitely those same elf who wanted sungmin out... oh my god what is wrong with them. more i-elf must see this and participate and make our opinion heard!

This is the reason why suju giving in was the worst thing they could have done. Those fangirls now OWN them literally.

 

I pray to god that other SM boygroups don't suffer this shit of thier fans acting like they own them. I feel so sorry for the other sm boygroups.

A company putting together a survey is one thing. It means the company genuinely wants to hear from fans. Given recent events, the fact that this is organized by K-"ELFs" is most likely not a good thing.

SM is not doing their job. They are not taking any responsibility for SJ. If SM is doing their job, does the fans need to do anything?

If the company does its job, the fans wouldn't have to do it.

 

If I have to put a blame on someone for this power imbalance, it would be SM. If SM took control of SJ right from the start (the only13 mess) and told the fans to suck it up or fuck off like every sane company would when they add new members, the power balance between fans and idols wouldn't have spiralled out of control like it did.

can k-elfs just spend the day collecting money to stream SuJu song on Melon? they should be more helpful to the group.

 

is a survey necessary when we know who they want to be on SuJu?

 

in: Siwon, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Heechul, Donghae, Ryeowook and Yesung.   

 

out: Shindong, Sungmin, Kangin. Also Henry and ZhouMi from SuJu M.
