My former singing partner Shunsuke Kiyokiba posted a note about me on Instagram.As always I will call him Shun. Takahiro and Shun, and myself…. perhaps you can understand how I’m feeling…Everyone has their own lives and each and everyone of you have frustrations at times. I’m not gonna force anyone to understand.The way I feel, whether it’s filled with happiness or not, it really doesn’t matter but I want to speak out just a little.I’ve written a letter to Takahiro and read it out on stage.My appreciation towards him and the fact that I couldn’t become a good "senpai" -elder to him, I wanted to apologize. And so I did apologize in front of everyone.When Shun left at that time, I never imagined how things would turn out. I thought that I’d be singing with him forever so it wasn’t easy for me to understand the situation. I had a vocal cord polyp and I couldn’t sing at all then.Now that I can reflect back, I think I learned so many things.I talked with Hiro-san and the rest of the members and decided to welcome a new vocalist. Before the auditions began, I wrote lyrics to whom I haven’t met. Eventually this was for Takahiro. “I’m here to welcome youâ€â€¦ I was pretty much prepared but somewhere in me I just thought he was just a partner to sing with.This might have been a huge pressure for Takahiro. He’s never said anything but to just sing as a singer of EXILE, with all his efforts. But I had to fulfill my promise of “let’s sing together in the near future...†I’ve said it in front of the fans and crossed my heart. I wanted to be true to my words.Right now Takahiro is my partner on stage and I’ve opened the pandora box. There are props and cons but I had to do this for myself to move on.Otherwise, what is in the lyrics of the song "Love Dream & Happiness" would be a lie. Takahiro I apologize. It is painful when we think logically.Takahiro and Atsushi, or Shun and Atsushi, I know that I can’t compare, and it is like how I can't choose curry or ramen. lolAnd, it's also up to the fans, which you prefer. Both combinations have good points and I am so grateful to both of them.It has been 10 years since I stood on stage with Shun.Takahiro couldn’t come to see because he had to perform for HIGH AND LOW, but a few days after he told me “I really wanted to go!!†and I missed my chance to apologize.It’s not that I have a bad relationship with him but I just didn’t have the opportunity to tell him in person.I’m not trying to act good in front of anyone, and it’s not an easy task to be honest to others.I always want to be fair to both of them. But for now, Takahiro is my singing partner so I want to keep this relationship positive as well as keep a good relationship with my brother Shun. Is it wrong of me to think this way?…. I sometimes ask myself.There’s no hidden intention behind this. I believe and I’m ready for anything to come! 2018, let’s do this…. the return of EXILE!! I'm just curious what happened? I know Atsushi had a live tour at end of 2016 and SHUN was a guest for one of the concert. Not gonna kid, but this seems like the most enjoyable and emotional live performance by Atsushi since the last live performance about 11 years ago. I get the feeling he is very prone to self-reflection and is in tune with his feelings (or he tries to be). Can he make a Facebook post regarding LDH talents who cannot act? Can he ask them to stop?
