The rest of their music is definitely... directed at a very specific teen demo...makes it hard for them to get a strong foothold outside of their fanbase....because it does come across a bit young...and a bit basic. Towers is like a Demi Lovato style pop ballad. I could hear it on the radio...and see it being a success amongst casual listeners. Interestingly enough, Towers is the one song they didn't have a hand at writing... and instead got from an outside producer...which might say something tbh...Perhaps they really should relinquish album control to outsider composers/writers... it just builds very nicely...
