AloHara 1,022
there's a mouse in my house and I have no idea what to do since this is the first time it's happened right now its trapped in the laundry room with basically no food or water so Im thinking I should just leave it there to starve but it might burrow into the walls or floor? and if it dies it'll probably be under the washing machine which is not good because the washing machine it attached to the wall any suggestions on what I should do? Wheein's Fringe 181
Oh no! I had this happen once. We managed to trap it in an empty garbage can and then release it, but mind you, it took about a couple days to finally catch it. Maybe try to create a barrier outside your laundry room with some sort of basket like object? Do you have extra garbage bags? You can try and cut them and make a net type of contraption. They move pretty quickly and are a fairly strong, so you have to make sure whatever you trap them in shuts all the way. It's a little freaky when you see them run (at least for me lol), but don't panic. Hope you can catch it!
kyanite 579
If you're going to trap it make sure you block the gaps underneath any openings like a door or something so that it doesn't squeeze out. You can always use some clothes or something to block the opening.
