I wish kpop albums were cheaper here... really, they're very expensive... but albums from my western favs I get as soon as its availabl

i buy online where cheapest if it's limited first.

I don't buy physical albums for Korean/Kpop artists unless I really like the album and artist - I've bought less than 10 physical copies in my 9 years of being into the genre 

 

For western/english artists I buy their albums a lot more often because it's just more accessible and cheaper, just this week I bought Vince Staple's and Lorde's new albums

Yeah western albums are like 5-10 dollars while I usually have to spend over 20 on a kpop album

However the packaging is tragic for western albums so I usually just buy the digital album

I think I'm in the minority when I say this but I actually really dislike how Kpop albums have such elaborate packaging sometimes, the kpop albums that I have purchased were done so because I just really liked the album and wanted to support it. I like normal jewel case CDs because they fit uniformly together on a shelf

Loool yeah u probably are in the minority but it's nice that you like jeweled cases and buy for the music
