Japanese music fans, do you try to convert KPop fans?

Since I got into japanese & korean music around the same time, I don't associate myself with just Jpop or Kpop. I like singers & idols in both countries. I don't try to "convert" Kpop fans but I sometimes talk about my Jpop favs, or even just have them as a siggy etc. and if someone express interest then I help them to get into it. just like that~

I don't initiate giving someone recommendations. If they ask for it, I'll provide so no I guess I don't. I totally enjoy spreading 'awareness' of artists I like, but I don't shove them in people's faces without permission.

My bias Arashi was shown to me by a J-Pop friend of mine, and I immediately fell in love with them. I like them too much now too even think about K-Pop in general except for that one favourite group of mine. People around me knew I love K-Pop so much before, so seeing me jumping ship like this all of the sudden makes them naturally listen to J-Pop by themselves. I already knew two of them who already started to ask me about J-Pop

wait so the fans in babymetal concerts aren't metal fans? They're just doing the death circle because?

Probably because it's their idea of fun, how am I supposed to know. All I'm saying is that disliking metal and simultaneously being a Babymetal fan is not a rare occurence.

Considered how messy kpop fandoms are, I prefer my fandom to just stay the way it is. Quiet. if someone came to like them on their own, it's okay. I am not going to promote.

If itwas a couple of years ago it was hard as hell because kpop was selling itself as hip and trendy and worshipping hip hop. Nowadays there is much more common ground that convincing kpop girl group fans to listen to jpop is less irritating since new groups in Korea is similar to what Japan is doing for so long
