In advance of physical copies of 4:44 rumored to be on the way, you can now download Jay Z's 13th studio album for free and without a Tidal subscription. Initially, 4:44 was a exclusive available only to Tidal subscribers during its June 30 release. However, multiple cities held 4:44 listening parties, and a 24-hour partnership with iHeartRadio provided airings of the entire album across 160 different stations as well as iHeartRadio.com.

Those interested in hearing Jay Z’s latest can now visit 444.TIDAL.com. Upon entering your name and/or email address and using the promotional code “SPRINT†a free download of 4:44 will be made available. The free album download is provided in both mp3 and FLAC formats regardless of if you have a Tidal subscription or not.

Elliott Wilson, Tidal's editorial director of culture, content, and hip-hop shared the free download page on his Instagram account while the voucher code "SPRINT" has been circulating on a Reddit thread.

This marks the second consecutive album Jay Z has provided free copies of. His 2013 album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, was made available for free as part of an exclusive partnership with Samsung to provide one million free copies of the album. The agreement caused the Recording Industry Association of America to change its gold and platinum certification rules allowing digital album certifications to be awarded upon release date, as opposed to a 30-day waiting period applicable to physical album releases. Though there are no guarantees as of yet, physical copies of 4:44 are available for pre-order on Amazon with a July 7 release date.
