if someone is accused of sexual assault you're freely within your right to give up on the fandom and then return when he's shown to be innocent. this isn't the church of kang dongho. you're not obligated to swear your allegiance to him. he's a total stranger, fans don't know him no matter how many interviews they read or how many variety shows they watch, and there's no way to know what kind of person he is in private life. this applies to literally every idol.

 

it's wrong to accuse him of being guilty without proof, but if you don't feel comfortable remaining a fan until the truth comes out, or at all, i find that perfectly acceptable. if other fans don't like that, fuck them. it's more important to adhere to your personal ethics and what's important to you as a human being.

But the problem is, some of them cursed and asked Nu'est unit as 3, which basically asked Dongho yo be kicked out from the group. That's not a good thing to do when the case is still mysterious, we don't know yet about the police investigation result.

i'm sure that's part of it too, but there are also fans who are just plain upset that other fans feel uncomfortable stanning him without knowing the actual truth after being accused of a crime. i mean there are three people who downvoted me up above for daring to suggest that you put what's important to you as a person ahead of stanning a complete stranger. this is sadly a pervasive view.
