SHE BETTER AUDITION FOR JYP/YG AS THEY RECRUITING AND ARE MAKING NEW GIRL GROUPS, SHE WILL BE A GOOD ADDITION AS SHE HAS TOP VISUALS AND A FAST LEARNER TOO, HAS TIME TO IMPROVE HER SKILLS AND TRAIN.

HOPE SHE FINDS A WELL KNOWN AGENCY AS IT GIVES HER MORE CHANCE OF PROMOTION... SOMYEONG PLZ DEBUT IN THE FUTURE!!

 

Yesssss! A good agency needs to get her. She's way too idol material to not debut.

Unfortunately them going to any big 3 isn't really realistic, Idol School didn't really do well and Big 3 seem to avoid getting people from these kinds of survival shows. I do think she'd be a great candidate for other agencies though and I hope they don't just pass her up because she comes from a show that was deemed a failure, I really don't want this show to be the last time I see her.

 

Yeah, big 3 is very unlikely. I'm hoping for a middle-tier agency.

Yeah he last IG post was kind of hinting at something big happening. This would be so amazing and much better than any positive outcome I ever imagined being possible.

Even if she's not debuting in Loona, she's probably debuting somewhere, so I'm happy. She improved really quickly during Idol School, to the point of being the main vocal in one of the evaluations; therefore, I can't wait to see how much she improved since the show ended.

So what are some you guys' predictions on what she's up to? I've seen some people online say she could be in Produce48, I'd be okay with that (assuming she makes it to the end) but I know a lot of people don't want to see her go through another survival. Aside from that I could maybe see her in the upcoming FNC gg, she seems like she'd fit well given the look of the teasers, but I'm not the biggest fan of FNC's groups. Are there any other upcoming projects she could be involved with? Of course she could just be debuting under some nugu company. 

 

I think she's debuting somewhere. I don't think she's participating in Produce 48 because she said something like "a new beginning in a new place" or something like that (my Korean isn't the best, so cmiiw), and another Mnet survival show wouldn't be something "new", I think. Sounds like she's talking about an agency/group.

 

I personally don't want her in another survival show because it's so stressful. Debuting in a normal group would be ideal, but if she's indeed in Produce48, I'm supporting her.

 

There's also Polaris new GG, they sent some girls to Mix9 and I think Somy would fit well with the other girls... if there was a choice between a survival and a normal debut I would prefer a normal one because yeah, survivals are tough  But with Produce48 I think it would depend on how it will be ><

Produce48 confuses the hell out of me. I think she would fit with Polaris girls though. For some reason I feel like she will do acting though....I don't know why

Something just ocurred to me: if she was joining Produce 48 she should have performed with Haein, Yuri, Natty, Sian and Eunyoung at MAMA with AKB48, shouldn't she?

Oh, you are right. Actors don't close their IG, at least I've never heard of that happening before.

 

not rly, those stayed at idol school and became idol school class 1, so assuming all of them join,  class 1 joins because mnet said so and somyeong would enter as an individual

 

off topic but i hope class 1 just debuts as a group itself and not join the survival show, all of them rly deserve to debut and seeing at least 1 of them not making it would make me feel so sad, im ready to support this current line up

Yeah, it would be great if they debuted as a group and didn't join yet another survival, but I think it's pretty much confirmed that they are joining Produce 48... :/

Do you guys know if there are news of a girl (or girls) closing her IG this month because she joined a company? If there are more girls closing their IGs around the same time as Somy, we can maybe narrow down the company.

it isn't really confirmed. They are the girls that was picked to preform together. It was nothing to do with Produce48. They been rumored to be a group ever since they talked to Pledis CEO and all lived together (along with Sky) so preforming there doesn't really mean they are confirmed for Produce48

I usually don't mind stanning predebut since most of the time they have some sort of backing for a future debut, it's just a matter of time, with Somy it's the uncertainty of it all that kills me.

 

I think it's pretty much confirmed that she's at least a trainee. We just don't know where. :(

 

I tried to narrow down the companies, and the only one I came up with was Polaris. The company was holding auditions around the same time Somy deactivated her IG.

 

 

[iNFO] 171212 Polaris Entertainment is launching 'Polaris Girls' project. Members audition starting from Dec 16th in Tokyo, Japan & Jan 5 - 13, 2018 in South Korea

 

Somy deactivated her IG on January 09, 2018.

 

A girl, Lee Seoyeon, who joined Polaris as a trainee on Jan 3rd also deactived her IG.

 

That being said, Polaris is my best bet so far, but it could be any company.

Ok so this post is gonna be a little weird, but I'm a bit weirded out myself. 

 

So I was going through previous posts looking for Somy pics and came across this post by me. Given the content and date of the post this is clealry a post I made when we thought she might be in LOONA, before the announcement that proved it wasn't her. At the end of the post I say "It really does look like her though" most likely referring to the fact that the teaser did look like Somy, I might or might have not added a picture of the teaser in the post, I don't remember. 

 

So given all of that, why is there a picture of Go Won in my post? In order for that picture to be there I would have had to come back after the reveal and change it as some sort of joke. But I definitely don't remember doing that and either way the post says I edited it on the 13th, the same day I posted. So I did edit the post but not to add the picture. Why is that pciture there?

 

OMG, what the heck.

FAVE Ent had a blurred girl in their video recently. She really does look like Somyeong in height/looks

 

Did they blurry the girl intentionally or was she just out of focus or something? Do you have the video?

 

Yeah I can see it being her, but a blurry girl with long black hair could be anyone tbh. Guess I'm following the Fave girls thread now. 

 

The line-up of Fave's next girl group is already revealed to the public, so I don't know what she could be doing in that agency. I highly doubt she would wait more 3 years or something to debut in another Fave group, considering her age.
