After months, what is your opinion about One Of These Nights and Rookie now?

In the fandom:

 

OOTN became fandom favorite and sort of being RV's honor badge of risk-taking and singing ability

when it being brought outside of the fandom.

 

Rookie was loved, but after a while, most fans just stop listening to it.

 

Now i'm curious about non-fans' opinions on those 2.

OOTN has great vocals hun. Wendys voice omg

 

Rookie is catchy but ugh. It makes me dance though

The only thing that upsets me is that even although OOTN showed Wendy's true vocal talent, people were upset with the concept and the fact that she took most of the lines.

 

Rookie, much like Russian Roulette, wasn't really my type, but after listening to it constantly

OOTN is my favorite red velvet song ever. It is so beautiful, and their vocals really shine.

I didn't really care for rookie when it was released, and I still don't. But sometimes, I will find myself humming it, just because.

One Of These Nights is a masterpiece, I bought The Velvet and I don't have regrets, the album is really good and all the remixes of OOTN are also masterpieces.

 

I like Rookie, but the song is bad, I feel it's too childish and I prefer Body Talk (from the album) a thousand times more than Rookie.

i think after Be Natural, no RV's titletrack truly shows how powerful Wendy's vocal is to the world. Ppl still think Yuju >>> Wendy because Wendy didn't have highnotes solo parts  . I myself really want her to have another SHINE ON MEH moment to have more things to do on variety shows rather than rapping which is okay but not her speciality

K-Pop is not ready for Wendy to have another moment like that. 

 

SM is not ready for Wendy to snatch everyone off their seats yet. 

 

 

And this is the first time i'm getting a comparison between Yuju and Wendy from anyone. But their song styles are different that's why. Had RV sang something like Rough, then yeah I'd see the comparison.

For OOTN, at first I was eh about it, thought it was a bit dragging but now I really love it.

As for Rookie, hated the song, now I can listen to it a bit better but still don't really like it.
