Best thing to do is to keep your distance, forget about her for a while, until your feelings go away. It's harsh but you have to ignore her, there is no other way. In my opinion, you should try to get out of her life slowly. Hang out with her less. Talk to her less. Until you lose connection. Keep yourself busy with something else. Focus on your life instead. After a time everything will pass. Don't date someone else unless you are completely over that person. You might hurt yourself and the person you're dating too. I've been thinking of ending our friendship but it feels selfish. And although I could meet new people and maybe eventually like someone else, dating someone all of sudden will probably has more damage than benefits.
