why is it like this?
hello guys, my brother and i are the only children (though both in their 20s) in the family (mom and dad separated)

so heres our personality-

brother- hes "normal". i mean he feels excitement when excited, he cries if hes sad, when hes mad- he shows it, he looks forward to vacations.
me- blank most of the time. i dont feel excitement all the time, if i do- its contained, if im sad, i supress it or it mostly doesnt show, when im mad im just blank and i dont get mad that much to people, i dont look forward to vacations- i dont think vacations are a must since youre just back to work/ school again anyway.

its just that, my brother jokes to my parents most of the time. he teases them etc etc. me on the other hand, i dont joke to them because i fear this.

im the whimsical one among the siblings honestly. im easy to laugh often, i easily laugh/ giggle at jokes. but when i show that side, i get chastised, scolded at, lectured for a long time. i never do cruel jokes- im more emphatic than my brother.
my brother on the other hand... hes safe- he jokes at them. teases them even.

i just get confused. am i that ugly when i laugh? do i look annoying when i giggle? should i not laugh anymore if theyre present?
