New film 'Real' starring Kim Soohyun and Sulli is getting bombarded with negative reviews.

'Real'  gained great attention for the explicit scenes in which Sulli bravely threw away her idol image and went completely nude.

Unfortunately, the film failed to meet the high expectations and was met with harsh criticism. Netizens are even calling it one of the worst films in Korean history.

On portal site Naver Movie, 'Real' received 4.85 stars out of 10 from netizens.

Reviews stated, ''The person who understood this movie deserves a Nobel prize", "Seriously, the worst movie of 2017", "I can probably film a better movie with my iPhone. Real annoyed", "Why did Kim Soo Hyun film this movie... I'm starting to think his life was threatened... I'm seriously concerned", "I quit smoking 5 years ago but this movie made me start smoking again", "This is too much... This can't be a movie", "A movie that needs to pay me to watch it... Time is gold", "The biggest crap of all time."

As of June 28, 'Real' has drawn a total of 150,839 moviegoers to the box office.

People are saying it's bad even if you exclude Sulli

I haven't seen the movie and neither have you most likely. I feel like Kim Soohyun wouldn't pick such a horrible movie to be in tbh. But who knows. Unless we watched the movie, only then can we say it's bad or not.

I know at the end we have to decide for ourselves.

Just pointing out that a lot of the reviews are most likely not just fueled by Sulli haters considering the things movie critics have said about the movie.

Plus the director was Kim Soo Hyun's cousin so looks like family got in his way of judgement.

It's ok, i mean it's a typical not too good movie ....yes I watched a leaked version.... it ain't what ppl are saying though, it's not as bad as ppl make it seem. But it has Sulli in it so by that.... they call it the worst movie 😂 I've seen worse

The sex scenes were funny to watch

I'm asking coz idk, is 150k a good number?

It's an okay Wednesday opening, but it dropped to 57k Thursday. That's really bad. A film like this needs a few million admissions to start to break even, it won't even cross 1 million with this performance.

It's Rated 19+.. Rated movies usually target 2million. When it hits 2-million it's success the same with Gangnam Blues it hit 2.3 million it was a 19 rated movie plus a gritty Yoo Ha project.

But I see REAL hitting well above 2-million

You have no idea what you're talking about lol

Show me a 2 million admission film that dropped 60% on it's second day. Rating isn't an excuse. The Prison is the third highest admissioned film for the year and it's 19+, Merciless, which did not and will not cross a million was a steady performer and barely saw a second day drop. Inside Men broke the ceiling on R pictures, there's no excuse such a hyped film with such a big star should be preforming this way.
