So it's fun to see who ranks in, especially when some girls climb a lot from the previous year. Like, Ogiyuka's rank was amazing this year - so that's fun to see. Plus, they have Senbatsu, Under Girls, Next Girls, etc. which are all different groups of girls with their own songs for the single. And like the top 9 or something become the members of NCT U for a comeback and still continue with their other units for the rest of the year. Yes, they have the different teams, but AKB48 has a lot more than 48 members ^^ Plus, their sister groups (SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48...) also participate in the elections as well.
