There was one where the main girl and another girl fell in love but at the end the other girl accuses the the main of abusing her to the school counselor smh and the main girls (guy)friend defends the other girl because he was jealous because the main girl didnt want to have sex with him. I liked Freeheld too (better than Carol which was turgid and a slog to get through) You should really watch Fried Green Tomatoes though. It's a damn good drama film and the lesbian subtext between the two leads is obvious even if they tried to remove any overt mention of it during the scriptwriting stage.
