Hyooga 10,307
I used to be meh about Sistar until I saw them live and it made me buy their songs. I honestly came to that event for another K-Pop act I was interested in stanning (who surprisingly turned out to be just okay thought they were funny during the talk part..it's a group with English speaker/s lol) but I left that event a Sistar fan. 4 Minute, Beast, FT Island, CN Blue and SHINee were amazing live too, made me stan their music. CN Blue is really hot though, they're definitely worth every penny if you see their show from visuals to music to stage presence. I don't know if this still holds true as it's been a couple of years since I last saw them live but their performance left an impact for sure. Have you every watched someone from K-Pop you don't really care about, then saw them live and changed your mind?

Mandilinn 7,814
Nah, it's usually the opposite. There's very few K-pop acts that are impressive live, so it's a big turnoff. I just stick to listening to the music.

A Hamster Named Loneliness 3,680
yep, that happened with SHINee, Infinite, CNBlue, Sistar, and Girl's Day. There was this free concert that L.A held in 2014 to commemorate the 111th anniversary of Korean immigration to the US and they were among the kpop acts along with 2PM (the rest of the acts were traditional folk singers/performers); I went just because it was free...well, as close to free as it can get (no thanks to ticketmaster requiring a ticket to get into the event and despite the ticket being free, the processing fee to print/mail it wasn't). Almost Famous 1,931
I never actually saw them live, but I was streaming an award show live, waiting for my group to perform and ended up getting snatched by Block B. That's never happened to me before. I end up getting really annoyed at a lot of kpop and mute a good portion of award shows and music shows. Or I just end up keeping one eye on it while waiting for my group. They were performing Toy, and I just really felt the emotion in the song. I also fell in love with Taeil's voice and really liked how the rappers sounded too. I already really liked Zico, but I gained a new appreciation for Block B after seeing their performance. Now I follow all their group and subunit releases too.

I've got a list of K-Pop acts that have disappointed me live lol I think it's pretty normal since not everyone is cut to be good at live shows

aiacandy 3,313
I was indifferent to Spica prior to seeing them in Kcon last year, but they're charismatic on stage that I ended up watching and listening to quite a few of their songs. ...Well it was short-lived but at least I saw them live
